Thanksgiving Day



The National Urban League / Walgreens Wellness Tour visited Carpenters House on November 26, 2009 and 100 people were tested. It was a big success!

550 people were given a wonderful Thanksgiving meal between Carpenters House and "The Wall."

Update: 11/28/2009

Ms. Dee & Ms. Gloria are preparing to move into their refurbished homes at last. It has been four years since Katrina hit and the day has finally arrived!

The new construction on Forstall St. has the electrical work finished and is ready for the plumbing to be put in.

Mt. Zion church pastored by Rev. Bo has a central heating unit!

Mt. Carmel church is on hold at the present time.

6/6/2009 - 6/13/2009 - Our group of 39 from Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington, Ohio just returned from CH2 in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
